so Northern Star is going down in London, and tickets are starting to sell out; it's a beautiful and unusual play, an underperformed gem now dragged out of retirement by Buzz Goodbody Award winning director Caitlin McLeod... and featuring a soundtrack by me and Tegid Cartwright.

Neither of the two people in the room paid any attention to the way I came in, although only one of them was Raymond Carver (dead).
ReplyDeleteI woke up in the middle of the night, screaming: "No! I meant Raymond Chandler!" I walked down the stairs, slowly, because I didn't switch the lights on. I swigged some whisky while my laptop switched on. I googled Ben Obsorn blog, found this post, then added a comment. Truman Capote said of the Beat poets: "That's not writing, that's typecasting." I want to die.
